Danielle del Marmol, EPF trustee, and François Del Marmol, Consul General of Belgium in Istanbul, hosted “Turkey – Armenia Journalism Award Ceremony” and reception in the framework of Aremania-Turkey Rapprochement Project on July 7, 2011, Istanbul, Turkey. The event was organized by Eurasia Partnership Foundation Armenia and Yerevan Press Club (YPC), together with Istanbul based Global Political Trends Center. GPoT Center and YPC established the Journalism Award in order to recognize journalists with the highest quality and most engaging media publications on Armenia-Turkey issues. The winner of the Turkish leg of the 2011 Award is Mr. Kadri Gürsel of the daily Milliyet.
