In early 2008, EPF funded Internews offices in the three South Caucasus countries for a project to promote tolerance among young people and the wider viewing public of the South Caucasus countries. Through the project, the multi-national group of 30 journalists and film directors formed 15 production teams with members from two different countries, one lead and one assistant participant. Participants took master classes and produced 21 documentaries promoting the ideals of compassion, humanity, and tolerance. On February 24 the Rustaveli Movie Theatre in Tbilisi, Internews hosted the Documentary Film Festival At the Crossroads. Twenty-one 7-10-minute documentaries will be shown at the festival. In addition to the public showing, Internews conducted a series of stakeholder discussions in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
